AROUND THE WORLD BENEFIT 2024
The Around the World Benefit is happening on Saturday, May 18 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.
There will be delicious food, an open bar, a silent auction, live music, and great company.
The suggested donation is $100 per ticket. Please give what you can. Less if you need to and more if you are able. While we love your kids, we ask that this event be just for grown ups.
The Around the World Benefit supports OWP’s scholarship fund and UPK program. A robust scholarship fund is fundamentally important to welcoming families unable to afford OWP’s tuition. Such support not only benefits recipient families but the entire OWP community, allowing us to better meet our mission of bringing people together from diverse backgrounds and cultures in order to build an inclusive community of learners ready to create, explore, discuss, collaborate, and grow together. Our UPK program accesses public funds to support our pioneering child-centered, play-based, anti-biased, Spanish-immersion UPK program. Unfortunately, DOE funding alone does not support our very special program. Annually, we must raise $120,000 to close the gap between public dollars and program costs.
